Hungary and US take ‘significant step’ toward closer economic cooperation

The Danube Institute and the New York-based American Hungarian Chamber of Commerce have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at exploring the opportunities within their shared network, the institute said in a press release on Thursday.
The agreement places particular emphasis on deepening economic and cultural dialogue, as well as strengthening initiatives that foster the relationship between the United States and Hungary, the press release said.
The partnership marks “a significant step forward” in strengthening economic dialogue and collaboration between Hungary and the US, it added.
