Interest strong for Demján Sándor scheme exporters credit

Subsidised credit schemes to boost the exports of Hungarian SMEs are off to “a flying start”, the National Economy Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Applications for HUF 52.7bn of credit available for exporters and tier 1 suppliers have already been approved, the ministry said. The loans, for new investments, capacity expansions, technology upgrades, new product roll-outs and acquisitions of material or immaterial assets, have rates of 5.7-7.2pc for forint credit and 3.75-5.75pc for euro-based credit.
Some HUF 1,410bn of resources are available in the framework of the Demján Sándor Programme to scale up local SMEs.
