Budapest, July 27 (MTI) – Oscar-winning French actress Juliette Binoche will be the guest of honour at this year’s CineFest International Film Festival organised in Miskolc, in northern Hungary, between Sept. 9-18, the organisers said on Wednesday.
Binoche will receive the festival’s special prize, they said.
The festival will open with a screening of Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Three Colours: Blue, starring Binoche.
The other two parts of Kieslowski’s classic trilogy will be screened on the festival’s second and third day in tribute to the director who died 20 years ago.
