Looking to buy a cheap holiday home in Hungary? Have a look here! – PHOTOS

Lake Tisza is one of the largest lakes in Hungary and is located in the northern part of the Great Plain. Although there has been a sharp rise in property prices at Lake Tisza, it is still the cheapest place to buy a holiday home in the country.

Still the lowest prices

Among the priority resort areas, prices per square metre rose the most in 2021 at Lake Tisza, by more than 30 percent, but they are still much lower than at Hungary’s largest lake, Lake Balaton, as hvg.hu reports.

The price of apartments and holiday homes per square metre is still the lowest at Lake Tisza, despite the sharp increase in prices, with average prices of HUF 140,000 (EUR 350) per square metre.

In addition to annual price changes, the analysts also looked at average holiday and residential property prices in the top resorts over a ten-year period. The Budapest area showed the highest increase of 176 percent. The smallest increase of 65 percent was in the Lake Tisza area.

Why buy anything before the crash?! Just wait a little bit and save at least 30%.
