Unknown weapon used to fire into Solymár’s Blue Nursery building on Tuesday early afternoon; suspected perpetrator arrested, police confirm.

Solymár Municipal Office announced on Wednesday via its Facebook page that an unknown device had been used to shoot into the Blue Nursery building in Solymár on Tuesday early afternoon, with the suspected perpetrator now in custody, the Hungarian News Agency wrote.

As they reported, a projectile pierced the drawn, closed blind through an open window of one of the group rooms; the bullet fell from the room’s wall to the floor, with no injuries reported.

Officers from the Pilisvörösvár police station, alongside Solymár’s municipal guards, arrived at the scene minutes later and detained the suspect.

Owing to the ongoing police investigation, the municipal office has no further details at present but will share any updates received without delay.
