Man stabs his friend over argument on who to get more drinks
A man stabs his co-worker and roommate after a heated argument about who should bring more Vodka for themselves. In another case, a bus driver by profession stabbed a 23-year-old young man at a bus stop three nights ago.
It seems that there is no end to human hatred; week after week people commit more and more brutal and blatantly stupid crimes. Police reported that two men from Vecsés got into a heated argument following a hard day at work. The two men not only work but also live together. They decided that they are going to blow off steam with a bit of drinking when they got home from work. The crime was committed on the 26th of February when around eight in the evening, they ran out of drinks. Already drunk, the two men tried to decide which one of them should go to get more alcohol.
The problem started when neither of them really wanted to go outside, and also, it was past the governmental curfew in Hungary. Their argument supposedly got more and more heated when one of the parties, a 46-year-old man decided that he is going to win the argument. He grabbed what seems like from the evidence photos to be his hunting knife and stabbed his 36-year-old friend.
The two were possibly so drunk that after the stabber apologised to the victim, they made peace. They also decided between themselves that the wound was not severe and did not notify the authorities, nor called for an ambulance.
When the victim’s relative heard about what happened via phone, he immediately called the first responders.
When the ambulance arrived, they deemed the wounds of the 36-year-old to be life-threatening, as the attacker stabbed his friend near his heart.
The victim was immediately hospitalised, and the perpetrator detained. The policemen took him to the police station for interrogating. The authorities confiscated several knives and a bag of bloody clothes. The Pest County Police Headquarters’ Criminal Department launched a procedure against the perpetrator, Mihály R. for well-founded suspicion of causing life-threatening bodily harm. The man is currently detained, but the police have initiated his arrest.
Recently, we wrote about a stabbing where the perpetrator attacked his victim on the bus due to her face mask supporting a certain movement in Hungary. You can read the article and watch the security footage of the bus’s camera HERE.
24 wrote about another case, where István K., the perpetrator stabbed a 23-year-old man at a bus stop in Zugló, Budapest. The Budapest Police Headquarters said that the perpetrator was immediately caught at the scene and that the attacker was a 52-year-old man. His profession is bus driver, but he was not working the night he committed the crime.
The stabbing happened on the night of the 26th of February and when interrogated, István K. partly confessed but said that he was only defending himself.
Allegedly, the stabbing happened after he and his victim argued. The investigators at the Budapest Police Headquarters interrogated the perpetrator under well-founded suspicion of causing life-threatening bodily harm.
