Moody’s: Hungary rating not updated
Budapest, July 8 (MTI) – Moody’s did not update Hungary’s sovereign rating, although it was on its EU sovereign rating calendar on Friday, the ratings agency said.
Moody’s rates Hungary “Ba1”, one notch below investment grade. The outlook for the rating is “positive”.
Moody’s also did not update Hungary’s rating at a scheduled review on March 5. The next scheduled review of the rating is November 4.
Ratings agency Fitch bumped Hungary back into investment grade in May, upgrading its sovereign rating to “BBB-” from “BB+”. The outlook for the rating is “stable”.
Standard and Poor’s rates Hungary “BB+”, still a notch under investment grade. The outlook for the rating is “stable”.
