Three Moroccan men sexually assaulted Hungarian tourists in Sicily

Italian police have arrested three young men of Moroccan origin in Catania province, Sicily, after two Hungarian tourists reported being sexually assaulted by them while travelling in the region.
From a beach day to a nightmare
According to reports by Italian daily Corriere della Sera and Hungarian news portal Telex, the two Hungarian women had spent the day at the beach before attempting to return to their accommodation. Two men approached them and offered a ride back. Instead of driving them to their lodging, the suspects took them outside the city and began harassing them.
At a secluded location, a third man joined them. He allegedly forced the women to consume cocaine while all three continued to molest them against their will. Despite their repeated refusal, the abuse continued throughout the drive.
Call for help saved the victims
One of the women managed to make a discreet call to her sister, pretending she was speaking to her mother. She provided both her location and the van’s license plate number. The sister quickly alerted the emergency hotline 112 and gave the police the critical details.
Vote for anyone but Fidesz and you won’t have to go to Sicily to experience this: You’ll have it, and much worse, on the streets of all our towns and cities right here in Hungary.
(That said, what were they thinking accepting a ride from them!?!?!)

It’s really terrible what happened, and the men are 100% guilty. Still, getting into a car with strangers is always risky. Sadly, you can’t expect safety in that situation. That’s why I personally would avoid it.
