Most Lufthansa Budapest flights cancelled on Friday as strike continues
Budapest, March 20 (MTI) – Lufthansa has cancelled seven of its Budapest flights on Friday because of a pilots’ strike, the German airline’s airport chief in the capital told MTI late on Thursday.
Lufthansa is seeking travel alternatives for the some 800 passengers booked on the flights, said Tamas Lichtenberger.
All of Lufthansa’s Budapest flights, with the exception of its morning and afternoon Munich flights, have been cancelled.
The Vereinigung Cockpit union has said the strike will continue on Saturday.
