Public media sports channels to broadcast most prestigious cycling races until 2031

Public media sports channels will broadcast free of charge the most prestigious cycling races at least until 2031, the press and marketing office of public service media operator MTVA said on Thursday.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) have extended an existing partnership until 2031, and Hungary’s Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund has been included in the agreement this year, the statement said.

The agreement covers all important areas of male and female races, including road bicycle racing, cyclo-cross, mountain bike racing, track cycling, BMX, and cycle speedway.
