New flight from Budapest announced to Europe’s Mainhattan, the rotating hub of the Old Continent

Condor, a German airline, is launching a new flight from Budapest connecting Frankfurt am Main with the Hungarian capital, Venice, and Barcelona. Unfortunately, the first flights won’t take off until next May.

According to AIRportal.hu, the airline hasn’t shared the exact timetable yet, but Aeroroutes reports that the planes will operate three times daily starting 1 May. Passengers will fly on Airbus A320 planes, with flights scheduled in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The evening flight will stay overnight at Budapest Airport and return to Frankfurt the next morning.

The first flight will depart Frankfurt at 7:30 AM and arrive in Budapest at 9:05 AM. The afternoon flight will depart at 2:30 PM to arrive at 4:05 PM, while the last flight of the day will take off at 7:40 PM, arriving in Budapest at 9:15 PM. Return flights from Budapest are set for 8:25 AM, 11:25 AM, and 5:05 PM.

Condor is a German leisure airline known for its classic beach and vacation destinations. This year, they expanded their network to include popular European cities like Paris, Milan, Rome, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich.

The company says it plans to focus not only on tourists but also on business travellers. Their Airbus A320neo planes offer more comfort, extra luggage space, onboard Wi-Fi, and even business class seating.
