Four people lost their lives on the M6 motorway yesterday afternoon near Szekszárd, Tolna county.
According to life.hu, the car with a Hungarian license plate did not stop despite the request of the authorities. The driver continued his journey towards Budapest with maneuvres endangering everybody on the motorway. Finally,
he lost control over the vehicle and broke the guardrail hitting the ditch near the road.
Four died in the accident, and three passengers suffered severe injuries. They were transported to a local hospital by ambulance helicopter. The county police headquarters is investigating currently why the driver wanted to get away that fast.
They suspect he might have been a fleeing human trafficker.
