Here is the newest motorway section in Hungary
Finance Minister Mihály Varga on Tuesday inaugurated a new section of the M4 motorway between Abony and Törökszentmiklós, in eastern Hungary.
At the ceremony, the minister noted the 27km section cost 125 billion forints (EUR 351m) to build. Hungary’s motorway network now totals 1,900kms, up from 1,300kms in 2010, he added.
In the past three years alone, over 100kms of motorways have been built, with most of the funding from domestic sources, Varga said.
