The Day of Ancestors held in Bugac – PHOTOS

The Day of Ancestors festival has become a bond between the Hungarians of the Carpathian Basin. The all-national collaboration has made it possible to create a new tradition with the biennial festival, which honours the founding fathers of the nation and the greatest figures of Hungarian history. 

The event is organized by the Hungarian Turan Fund, who invite every people from the Highlands and Transylvania keeping their traditions to take part in this extraordinary event. Visitors can watch a wide range of programs like folk concerts, horseback combat demonstrations with the best warriors alongside interactive exhibitions, trying different professions and archery.
