The majority of the Hungarian population supports the country’s membership in the EU. This fact is almost completely independent of party affiliation. The only party whose voters are not so keen on the country’s membership is Mi Hazánk. The research company Medián has conducted a survey on Hungary’s EU membership.

Hungarians are in favour of the EU

In its May survey, Medián wanted to find out whether Hungarians are pro-EU or not. In the national representative survey, 1,000 people were polled.

The results showed that a large majority of Hungarians want the country to keep its EU membership.

This statement is largely true regardless of party sympathies. Among Fidesz voters, there is a slightly different ratio, portfolio.hu reports. Fifty percent of the total respondents fully support the country’s EU membership, while 38 percent would rather stay in the EU than opt for Huxit. This changes to 28 and 55 percent respectively among Fidesz voters.

No Huxit after Brexit

“In spite of the almost unanimous public support, there is a growing concern that the widening conflicts may lead to a situation where our exit could be on the agenda,” Medián writes.

The majority of Hungarian society would opt to remain in the European Union in a hypothetical referendum. Almost two-thirds would do so even if Viktor Orbán were campaigning for withdrawal.

Exactly two-thirds of government voters would vote to remain in the EU. 55 percent would vote to stay even if Orbán was campaigning to leave.

Europeanism is mostly linked to education, 168 Hour reports. 82 percent of graduates would vote to stay in any case. 64 percent of the respondents who own high school diplomas and 57 percent of those who have vocational qualifications are pro-EU. While only 43 percent of those who have completed eight years of general secondary education would vote to stay in the EU.

In conclusion, the survey shows that Hungary is unlikely to leave the European Union in the near future.

Brexit has been a disaster for the UK and may even cause the break up of the Union as it it is known there, the 3 plus 1 countries tied together (in particular Scotland and Norther Ireland). Brexit has cost the UK billions in GBP and the situation is getting worse by the day. Brexit is a textbook example of how a nation can shoot itself in the foot! The UK government is even complaining about EU regulations that the UK INSISTED upon when it was member but now apply to the the UK as well as now it is a 3rd country. The mollusc purification argument is a simple example of a nation of not liking the taste of its own medicine!

It will not work. Brexit is an absolute disaster for the UK. Can’t get skilled workers as they came back to various EU countries due to ‘officialdom’; Northern Irish border still isn’t solved and will it ever be, very much doubt it; fishing rights up in the air, just to name a few things. A lorry driver couldn’t even take a cheese/ham sandwich when leaving the UK as it was seen as an export!

The vote to leave was based on lies from the campaigners. Take back control for the borders to stop migrants, it’s worse now than its ever been. Millions of pounds would go into the health service instead of to the EU each week, absolute lie. BoJo spoke of his ‘oven ready deal’, there is no deal that works for anyone. He claims now that his government has “got Brexit done”. It’s a shambles and that clown is ruining that country.

So no, it will not work for Hungary.

The European Union is nothing but a dictatorial socialist tool! The ONLY justification for its existence is marxist tyranny! It only exists because the ideological subversion and corruption of people who are part of it exist and allow it to exist! The ruling elite of the EU are not going to give up power of their own volition, of course! Nevertheless, the system has feet of clay and it will eventually topple by itself, like all other marxist ventures in the past have! Good riddance it will be! To be a part of a system like that is of course idiocy, but the average population is just too subverted and to stupid to see that!
