One Hungarian among university students in Spanish bus accident
Budapest, March 20 (MTI) – A 24-year-old Hungarian man was among those injured in a bus accident in Spain early Sunday morning, a spokesman for the foreign ministry told MTI.
The Hungarian man broke both arms in the accident, said Tamás Menczer.
A staff member at the Hungarian consulate in Barcelona spoke with the man, who said he was being treated in hospital and required no assistance for the time being.
The young man said he was the only Hungarian travelling in the bus.
The bus was carrying Erasmus programme students from Valencia to Barcelona when the accident occurred, killing 13 and seriously injuring at least 30. A further 13 passengers suffered light injuries.
