Orbán meets Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Budapest, April 28 (MTI) – Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein Kavazovic is in Hungary for a working visit on the invitation of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the press chief of the prime minister’s office said on Thursday.
Kavazovic attended a gala dinner with Orbán in parliament and is set to travel to Baranya County in southern Hungary to meet local leaders and present a lecture at Pécs university on Islam in the Balkans, Bertalan Havasi said. Kavazovic is also scheduled to visit the most important Muslim memorial places in Baranya County.
His talks and lecture focus on the past and present of Hungary-Bosnia relations, the European perspectives of Bosnian Muslims and possible solutions to the current problems Europe is struggling with, Havasi said.
