Parachute jump of a 78-year-old Catholic priest in Hungary
Father Richárd, retired Catholic priest and former Benedictine prior of the Tihany Abbey, had a fantastic and extreme experience. He jumped out of a plane with a parachute at the age of 78.
According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, Father Richárd Korzenszky jumped with Attila Kositzky, retired lieutenant general of aviation, in tandem from 4,000 metres high – they landed at the airport of Börgönd. It has been an old dream of the Father, and on 1st October, it finally came true.
This was not the first time when Father Mihály was among the clouds. He took photos of Lake Balaton from above in a helicopter twice a year.
“The views of Lake Velencei, Balaton, and Tihany were fantastic – I also saw the Mátra Mountains from there,”
said Father Richard after the successful jump.
