Parliament approves main budget figures

Budapest, December 9 (MTI) – Parliament on Tuesday finalised the main revenue and expenditure figures for next year’s budget with planned revenue of 16,312.9 billion forints(EUR 53bn), expenditures of 17,190.3 billion and a deficit of 877.4 billion

MPs approved the figures with 116 in favour, 40 against and 20 abstentions.

The revenue and expenditure figures are both lower than those in the original bill (by 67.7 and 67.9 billion, respectively).
