Last year, over 100,000 private individuals made one-off or regular donations to the then-opposition Tisza Party, Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Facebook on Monday, adding that the number of the party’s volunteers and experts also exceeded 100,000

Donations to the party amounted to 3,1 billion forints (EUR 8.8m), which was topped up with revenues of 9.8 million forints from sales through the party’s webshop, the prime minister said.

Magyar said his party had no revenues other than funds received from private individuals to finance its preparations for the April 12 election.

He said 178 donors had sent more than 500,000 forints each, totalling 422 million forints, he said, while donations less than 500,000 forints amounted to 2.7 billion forints.

The cost of Tisza’s preparations for the election amounted to 3,03 billion forints, and the party closed 2025 with a balance of 180 billion forints, Magyar said.

The detailed financial report is available at Tisza’s website.
