Prime Minister Péter Magyar has asked for an urgent written briefing from the caretaker ministers of the outgoing Orbán government, asking what decisions and commitments they made after 4pm on Saturday.
In a directive posted on Facebook on Monday evening, Magyar instructed the ministers to provide detailed briefings by 10pm, including on all state leadership decisions and commitments made after 4pm on Saturday and the legal basis and justification for each decision. The prime minister also asked them to submit all related documents.
He also instructed them to seek his prior approval before making any new commitments until the new government is formed.
