Foreign minister: Hungary strengthens Montenegro consular service for Euro 2024 qualifier
Hungary is strengthening its consular service in Montenegro for fans attending the Euro 2024 qualifier between the two countries on Saturday, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said. All 500 tickets set aside for Hungarian fans by Montenegro’s soccer federation have been sold, Szijjártó said on Facebook.
Because most fans are travelling to Montenegro by car, Hungary has strengthened its consular presence at the border crossings, the minister said. The Hungarian embassy in Montenegro and the foreign ministry are also sending staff members to the stadium for any Hungarian fans who may need help, he added.
