PM Orbán arrives at Dallas venue of conservative CPAC conference

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has arrived at the venue of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas, where he will deliver an keynote speech later on Thursday, the PM’s press chief said.

Orbán attended a reception hosted by the Centre for Fundamental Rights, where he spoke to guests about the lessons of his Fidesz party’s victory in the April general election and the importance of protecting Christian Democratic values, Bertalan Havasi told MTI. Orbán said conservatives in the United States and Europe needed to unite to win their coming elections.

The prime minister then attended a working lunch with CPAC’s leaders.
