PM Orban congratulates Hungarian students for 2013 Olympics
Budapest, January 27 (MTI) – The prime minister presented honours to Hungarian students winning prizes at 2013 student Olympics at a ceremony in Parliament on Monday.
Addressing the event also hosted for the students’ teachers, Viktor Orban said that the success Hungarian students achieved prove that Hungary’s often criticised education system was still keeping up with high international levels.
He presented honours to students with a top performance at the Olympics in chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, geology, astronomy, astrophysics, philosophy and IT.
He said every generation, once pursued studies abroad, faced the question whether it was worthwhile to return home. He said his cabinet was working to create such a country where everyone could find their prospects.
