Police officers charged with people smuggling – UPDATE – VIDEO
Budapest, August 3 (MTI) – The chief prosecutor’s office has raised charges of human smuggling against five people including three police officers, according to a statement sent to MTI on Monday.
The officers are believed to have monitored the movements of patrols along the border in the Hercegszanto area, and helped illegal immigrants avoid a police check.
All five suspects have been arrested.
