Budapest (MTI) – Raiffeisen Bank will close 15 of its branches in Hungary next month, Raiffeisen chief Heinz Wiedner told a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
Raiffeisen will have 67 branches in Hungary with an overall staff of less than 2,000 after the move, Wiedner said. He added that his bank was not planning for any further measures of austerity.
Raiffeisen had profits of 1.8 billion forints (EUR 5.8m)in the first half of 2015, as against losses of 26.2 billion forints (EUR 84.7m) in the same period last year, Wiedner said.
