Red-haired beauty crowned Miss Universe Hungary – photos

21-year-old Kincső Dezsényi has won the Miss Universe Hungary title and will go on to represent Hungary at the world final in Thailand.

The Miss Universe Hungary 2025 final took place on 13 September, where the crown was awarded to Kincső Dezsényi. The red-haired, blue-eyed winner is currently studying physiotherapy and will carry the Hungarian flag at the global competition in Thailand.

Twelve young women reached the national final, with ten contestants taking to the stage at the gala. This year, the jury evaluated not only beauty, but also personality and presence. The panel was headed by businessman István Hajós, with a female majority influencing the final decision. The event was streamed live on the Miss Universe Hungary YouTube channel.

Miss Universe Hungary and the international final

The Miss Universe Hungary title is awarded each year to the young woman deemed by the jury to best combine beauty, character and charisma, making her a worthy representative of Hungary on the world stage. The national winner automatically advances to the Miss Universe final, where more than eighty countries compete.

Several past winners have remained in the spotlight following their victories. In 2024, the crown went to Nóra Kenéz, who impressed the judges with her classic beauty and confident presence. A year earlier, in 2023, Tünde Blága won the title and also appeared on the reality show Farm VIP.

Many former Miss Universe Hungary winners have achieved commendable results at the international event, demonstrating that Hungarian contestants can hold their own among the world’s most beautiful contenders. Though a global title has so far eluded Hungary, the competition offers an annual platform for the winner to showcase her country and individuality to an international audience.
