Moby returns to Budapest – the icon of electronic music comes live again!

A pioneer of electronic music and one of the most influential figures in contemporary culture, Moby will return to Hungary after 15 years – bringing a completely new live experience to Budapest on 1 August 2026.
The renowned artist will take the stage at Budapest Park, where his music, which has shaped the sensory and conceptual dimensions of modern sound for over three decades, will come to life once again. Moby’s songs have accompanied millions through deeply personal moments over the years, and they continue to resonate with the same emotional weight today. It is no exaggeration to say that this return has been long-awaited. Ticket sales begin on 5 December at 10:00 AM.

After more than a decade-long hiatus, Moby returned to live performances in 2024, and in 2026, he embarks on a major tour that brings a revitalised live concept to the stage. Audiences can expect a musical journey enriched with ambient textures, rave-infused rhythms, and heartfelt vocals, presented with fresh intensity at Budapest Park. The setlist will meld timeless classics, lesser-known gems from his career, and brand-new arrangements, where nostalgia meets contemporary sound.
Art meets conscience- Moby’s mark on music history

His 1999 album “Play” sold over 12 million copies and is considered one of the most defining electronic records of all time. Tracks like “Porcelain”, “Natural Blues”, “Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?”, and “Honey” have become cultural cornerstones. Moby was the first artist to license every song from a full album for use in films, series, and commercials — opening a new chapter in music utilisation.
Over his career, he has sold more than 20 million records and garnered numerous prestigious accolades — including MTV, Billboard, and Grammy nominations. He has collaborated with legends such as David Bowie, Public Enemy, Ozzy Osbourne, Beastie Boys, and Daft Punk; his remixes remain influential pillars of today’s music scene.
In addition to his music career, Moby remains active in humanitarian work — supporting organisations such as the Humane Society, ACLU, and the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function. As a film producer under his company Little Walnut, he is behind the award-winning documentaries “Moby Doc” and “Punk Rock Vegan Movie”. Currently, he is working on a feature film titled “Tecie”, expected in summer 2026.
