On the Facebook site of Viktor Orban, two dozen pictures appeared from the Transylvanian open university: one of the photos shows the goods of an emblem vendor, who also sells badges depicting Greater Hungary, while in other places Székely flags can be seen.

“Unfortunately, just one day after he advocated pragmatism and the efficient Romanian-Hungarian relations, the Hungarian Prime Minister showed photos containing Greater Hungary and Szeklerland symbols on his Facebook page” – the Romanian foreign ministry wrote.

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs assessed it as the promotion of revisionist symbols, which it called unacceptably.

  1. So wanting to take back lands that historically only, belong to us is filthy and shameful revisionism, but taking away lands from others just because Romanian population migrated onto those lands due to Ottoman wars and cruel Romanian overlords is…what?

  2. Jacky, one can never come to terms with a backward simple people. Not all Romanians are like that. but most, unfortunately, are.
