The previous early morning national record of 24.5 C was recorded in Szeged in 2024 and the Budapest record was 24.1 C recorded at János Hill last year.

HungaroMet noted that on Saturday it was a tropical night in the capital and several settlements, meaning the minimum temperature was above 20.0 C.

  1. Nice to see the commenting facility back on.
