Tamás Menczer, the foreign ministry state secretary for external relations, has called on Slovakia’s foreign minister to be “respectful in how he talks about Hungarians”, MTI said. Rastislav Káčer said in an interview that PM Viktor Orbán supports Russian propaganda. He added that Hungary is the only European Union Member State which is not a Western-type democracy. He highlighted that the European Parliament and the European Committee think the same.
Káčer added that regardless of what he says, a “shitstorm comes from Hungary”. Even George Soros might envy that, he added sarcastically, telex.hu said.
“It is known that Foreign Minister [Rastislav] Káčer is only comfortable when he regularly speaks of the Hungarian prime minister in appalling terms,” Menczer said on Facebook. “But we must remind Slovakia’s foreign minister that Viktor Orbán was elected by the Hungarian people with record support for the fourth consecutive term. The decision of the Hungarian people must be respected, even by the Slovakia’s foreign minister.”
Menczer said Orbán was in favour of peace and against sanctions, noting that after the crises caused by migration and coronavirus, Hungarians had entrusted him with managing the current crisis as well.
“This is the kind of stability that is not really characteristic of Slovakia,” Menczer said. “Perhaps Foreign Minister Káčer would be better served focusing on his own country, which is constantly in a governing crisis.”

“…with record support.”, yes but just how did this Orbán Government garner such support?!
It’s easy to win an election when the government has almost total control of the mass-media (and rules by decree).
It’s easy when our population gets sucked in by gross scaremongering, eg, war spreading to Hungary, the building of xenophobia, the possible overun of our country by refugees and immigrants, the all to regular blame-laying on everyone else (including the EU and George Soros – who is really nothing more than an insignificant figure on the world stage) for Hungary’s ills.
We (Hungary) are nothing more than a huge thorn (more precisely, the enemy within) in the side of the EU. So, why should any of us be surprised that some ministers from other EU States get peed-off at our grossly belligerent PM and his FIDESZ subservients.
I say, (to Kačer), well said, and it’s high time more EU leaders spoke their mind. Whether we like it or not, he said nothing but the truth.

Its an ABSOLUTE hypocrisy – to what Orban – has shaped and moulded, through propaganda, aggressiveness and ABUSIVE of Governmental Powers, absolute failings of Candour- truth supported by factual occurrences and references, scaremongering, manipulation – the list goes on, its ZENITH, of the WRONGFULLNESS in the character behaviour of Victor Orban and his Government/Fidesz Party – continues to SEND Hungary – into an Abyss.
Whatever “Station in Life” we come from in Hungary – population of 9.5 million – the increase CONTINUING of citizens increasing – who are living on the edge of an in-ability to financially SURVIVE – Appalling.

Education, Public Services – needs of people paid for out of there taxes – Hospitals and “other” places of medical care – Inflation, devaluation of the Forint, Interest Rates – the CARNAGE factually occurring in the Real Estate/Property Market & Construction Industry, – the Hotel profession, restaurant game continual closures – the DECAY of the GUTS or CORE of Hungary – is just being RAVAGED.
WHO -Who – is going to INVEST into Hungary?
How can Hungary sustain STABILITY financially and economically – without European Union Membership and the lost destroyed friendships of “other” countries?
Stabilization – near impossible in Hungary – that will horrifically WORSEN in 2023 on.
Victor Orban near on 13 years in POWER – and boy he LOVES POWER at ALL costs – that Hungarians – have we reached the stage in vast millions remembering the times pre 1989 living in a DICTATORSHIP from 1945 on to 1989 – have we ACCEPTED that’s the WAY again for us as a COUNTRY to move forward – our COMFORT Zone?
