Slovakia extradites Hungarian accused of threatening people with gun

Slovakia extradited a Hungarian man to Hungary, suspected of threatening people with a gun in Kisigmánd, in northern Hungary, last December, the Komárom-Esztergom County police said on the official website, police.hu, on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old man appeared at an industrial facility in a mask with a semi-automatic weapon and a sword and forced two people into an office building, police.hu writes. Then he threatened a third, trying to force information from him. When the man refused, the perpetrator fired a shot into a wall and fled. He was arrested in Slovakia on the force of a European arrest warrant within a few days and extradited to Hungary on Tuesday.
