An outdoor display featuring 42 photographs will show images of Hungary at the National Athletics Centre in tandem with the 2023 World Athletics Championships from Saturday.
The images depict the beauty of Hungary’s nature, architecture and communities to some 2,000 athletes arriving from over 200 countries and 50,000 visitors from around 100 countries, Ottó Kaiser, head of the Magyarország 365 photo competition jury, told a press conference on Wednesday.
The Magyarország 365 photo competition was launched in 2019 and the jury selected 42 out of some 124,000 images submitted by amateur and professional photographers, he said. The exhibition will be shown during the event running through to August 27, he added.
