State secretary holds talks about Budapest-Casablanca direct flight in Rabat
Hungarian foreign ministry state secretary Levente Magyar attended the third session of the Hungarian-Moroccan joint economic committee in Rabat on Friday which focused on boosting tourism ties.
The Budapest-Marrakesh and the Budapest-Agadir direct flights started operating this year but a Budapest-Casablanca direct flight is also needed for sufficient transport links, Magyar told MTI by phone.
He said both Hungary and Morocco would run an advertising campaign promoting visits to one another’s country.
Magyar said that agricultural cooperation was also discussed, noting that already half a dozen bilateral projects had been under preparation.
He further noted that there are 100 Moroccan students studying in Hungary with grants and the Hungarian government is open to expanding the programme to include another 50 students.
