Sting is coming to Budapest
The worldwide famous musician is giving a concert on October 13th at the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena, reports hvg.hu.
Sting is having a great success with his 57th & 9th tour: all of his North-American, European, South-American and Mexican concerts were sold out. He is currently in Asia, but is about to return to Europe for some festival gigs, and after that, he will continue his tour in Central- and Eastern-Europe.
The touring band consists of three members: his long-term guitarist, Dominic Miller, drummer Josh Freese and guitarist Rufus Miller. He also has Joe Sumner and Percy Cardona (The Last Bandoleros) as guest musicians.
The tour wears the same name as his twelfth solo album, 57th & 9th, which is his first rock/pop act after a decade. It is available since November 11, under the distribution of A&M/Interscope Records.
Tickets go on sale at 10 am on June 2nd, but in the meantime, let’s not forget about the other upcoming autumn concerts in Budapest. Fellow Englishman, Chris Rea, is giving a concert on the 6th of November in the Budapest Sportarena as well. Two days prior to Rea, Queen and Adam Lambert will be rocking the Arena. Make sure to get your tickets in time!
