Budapest, April 19 (MTI) – Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó met leaders of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) to discuss ways to improve Hungary’s competitiveness and environment for investments on Tuesday, the foreign ministry said.
Fifteen business leaders participated in the talks, the ministry said.
Szijjártó told the participants that his ministry, together with the economy ministry, is putting together a package of proposals that aim to improve workforce mobility as well as research and development.
About 1,600 US-owned companies operate in Hungary. They employ 100,000 people.
