Netanyahu met Hungarian government-close 4iG executives with the help of FM Szijjártó

“Hungary and Israel consider physical and digital security pillars of future cooperation,” Péter Szijjártó, the foreign minister, said on Sunday, adding that the two countries sought to develop their economic ties on those foundations.

Ahead of a working breakfast with the Israeli prime minister, Szijjártó thanked Benjamin Netanyahu for agreeing to meet with the executives of two Hungarian companies that play an important role in the development of bilateral ties, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

He stressed that there were no guarantees for security either in the Middle East or in central Europe, and said that both Hungary and Israel had to keep working to improve the security of their citizens.

He added that those efforts typically involved technological challenges, pointing to the digital dimension of security in addition to physical considerations.

He said ensuring national security required “always being at the forefront in terms of technology”.

One of the participants was Gellért Jászai, the chief executive of the 4iG, who met with Trump and Elon Musk in the USA before. Netanyahu will travel to meet with Trump in the USA after his visit in Hungary.

  1. Lest we forget, our Politicians acquired the infamous Pegasus software from Israel.

In this vein, the potential of Israeli video surveillance systems based on artificial intelligence sounds exceptionally disconcerting, especially in the hands of our Government:

Quote: “Communication Technologies Ltd, the broker company through which Pegasus was sold to the government of Hungary, listed more Israeli companies in the types of foreign technologies it was trading. Attenti Group sold the Hungarian company electronic surveillance systems (electronic trackers), Cellebrite, Corsight AI and Viisights, the last two are developing video surveillance systems based on artificial intelligence.”

Our Politicians would never, would they? Not against Hungarian citizens?
