Wolters World summarised in a video what you should try in Hungary when it comes to eating and drinking. They went over some of the classic Hungarian dishes, like Goulash and Chicken Paprikash, as well as the Palinka as an after- (or before-) dinner drink.

According to the maker of the video, Mark, there is a lot of paprika and cream in Hungarian foods, so everybody should be prepared for it before trying Hungarian meals.

He said that goulash is one of the most famous Hungarian dishes,

a meat and vegetable stew with paprika, and, in his opinion, it is good. You can have it in bread, sometimes it is a soup, and there are some other options as well. “It is way better than I had anywhere else in the world. Budapest is the place to have it,” he concluded.

 

 

In Hungary, there are tons of stews, he says in the video. You can have it as a meal or as a starter.

If you are in Hungary, you should try fisherman’s soup. It can be made with carp, catfish, or basically any fish in the soup, and it can also have noodles and dumplings in it.
