The coolest ice rink above the city of Budapest

Hotel President Budapest basically opened the coolest ice-skating rink in the whole city. The Intermezzo IceTerrace has been officially opened on the hotel’s rooftop, orientpress.hu reports. Luckily, the hotel’s guests are not the only ones who can enjoy this special ice-skating rink and its amazing view of downtown Budapest.

Hotel President Budapest is a four-star hotel located on Hold street, in District V. The hotel decided to open its very own 110 square metre ice-skating rink on its own rooftop. The ice-skating rink offers a 360 panorama of the hotel’s surroundings. From the Intermezzo IceTerrace, visitors can see almost all of the popular sights of Budapest such as St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian Parliament, the Buda Castle and even the Citadel.

This ice rink is special because it not only offers the opportunity to get a little exercise and ice-skate, but a small wooden cottage next to the rink sells all of our favourite festive treats. On the spot, visitors who would like to have a little rest after skating can enjoy a cup of hot mulled wine or punch. Roasted chestnuts and bejgli are also available to purchase.
