The wealthiest Hungarians to become even richer

After a temporary halt, the Hungarian elite continues to enrich themselves at an astonishing rate. The wealth of private bank customers may increase by double digits this year, but the growth rate og the richest Hungarians will be even faster.

Nap.hu writes, citing an estimate by a private banking consultancy, Blochamps Capital, that the richest will not be affected by the crisis caused by the coronavirus, in fact, the expansion of their extra wealth continues.

Even in the year of the coronavirus epidemic, the wealth of this layer increased by 11%.

The march may continue next year.

According to expert estimates, the private banking clientele will already have HUF 8,000 billion (~EUR 22 billion) in financial services next year, which means that their assets may increase by about 9.5 percent and the average savings per account will be around HUF 180 million (~EUR 516.000).

It is mostly the wealthiest who will prosper.
