Uncanny discovery: Human skull found in Szeged, Hungary – PHOTO
A 16-year-old boy found a human skull while riding his bike on the side of a railway embankment in Szeged-Szentmihály on Monday.
The human remains were found to have injuries and fractures, Blikk reports. The 16-year-old boy told the paper that his friend first noticed the bone, which was initially thought to be a piece of metal. When they got closer, they were confronted with a skull in the ground.
“Suddenly we were so scared that we ran away, then we called my mother and then the police,”
the boy recalled to the Hungarian tabloid. He added that the first day they were so scared in the evening they couldn’t even sleep.
The skull is probably at least 20 years old
The police confirmed to the newspaper that a skull had indeed been found. Captain Csaba Pere, press officer of the Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters, said that the remains were being investigated in an administrative procedure.
There is no suspicion of violence at this stage of the procedure. The bones could be at least 20 years old, according to the on-site examination of the expert, they added.

I hope that they had the sense to not add DNA to it by touching it with hands that were not gloved. Now with so many new procedures in labs they can find peoples’ identity, solve cold cases, find long lost family …..I hope that this newspaper will update us in future. I watch YouTube vedios mostly from Australia where they are solving so many mysteries that families had given up hope regarding. Finding criminals who went on to commit many more crimes, hiding in plain site…like all the priests who had fathered children that they then refuse to support financially or give a name to. By the time they are tracked down they are so elderly that they can’t be properly punished. If this was a missing loved one, hope that family can be traced. They can build up skulls and then even age t hem now w. the use of computers. Amazing.
