Unpleasant change at Hungarian petrol stations: fuel price drop is over
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen what’s coming to Hungarian petrol stations in the next few days. Fuel prices will not move in the expected direction.
On Friday, we will see a price change for diesel. The purchase price is rising by HUF 3 gross in the second half of the week, holtankoljak.hu reports.
Based on current average retail prices, the following prices can be expected at the stations:
- 95 petrol is expected to cost HUF 556 (EUR 1.50) per litre from Friday, while
- diesel is expected to be HUF 545 (EUR 1.47) per litre from Friday.
Fuel prices in Hungary have been falling steadily in recent months. Now, the tables seem to have turned. GKI CEO László Molnár said earlier that fuel prices could rise by up to HUF 50 per litre in Hungary by the summer, Index reports.
