Video: Dangerous driver caused an accident at one of Budapest’s most popular nightclubs
A motorist caused an accident with a so-called penalty braking manoeuvre at Budapest Park, a popular nightclub in the Hungarian capital.
The dangerous manoeuvre in Budapest was caught on camera by the driver behind the Citroen C4.
“He was already on the phone at the previous intersection, and then at the red light on the video. He didn’t start, I honked at him, and then he hit the penalty brake so hard that the car slammed on the brakes before my foot could reach the pedal. If it’s not the car we have, there’s a good chance we’ll hit it. My partner’s shoulder was shrugging. We called 911. Of course the driver drove on,” said the video’s submitter.
Previously, there was an example of someone braking suddenly on the M3 motorway. According to the Hungarian Egri District Prosecutor’s Office, the speed of the accused was reduced from 159 km/h to 129 km/h.
The investigating authority has filed an offence report against both the accused and the victim for other traffic offences, index.hu reports.
