VIDEO: This is how American tourists see Budapest and Pécs

An American couple travel the world and show where they’ve been on their YouTube chanel. The tourist couple’s ninth destination was Hungary, where they visited Pécs and Budapest.

Melissa and Rishi are an American couple who quit their jobs in 2023 because they decided to travel the world. They have visited Nepal, Romania, Turkey, Poland and Bulgaria. Their ninth destination was Hungary.

In Hungary, they visited the capital, Budapest, first. Their journey starts with a mesmerising stroll across the Chain Bridge. They then visit popular tourist attractions such as Buda Castle, Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial and the Parliament. Of course, the Budapest Eye was not to be missed at the end of the day.

The Hungarian capital was followed by a first-class train journey to Pécs. The couple also toured the south-eastern Hungarian city, starting with Széchenyi Square. They were only able to see the Zsolnay porcelain factory from the outside as it was closed for the Day of the Dead. Afterwards, they continued their journey to the Downtown Candlemas Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They ended their journey with the Pécs Cathedral.
