On 20 October, the Christmas House, one of Hungary’s most unique Christmas decorations shops, opened its doors, evoking a fairytale festive atmosphere. Don’t miss this special experience if you like the festive season!
Every year for the past 23 years, the Christmas House in Gödöllő has attracted tens of thousands of visitors. People visit the unique place not only from home but also from abroad, turizmus.com writes.
“After a long and thorough preparation, we think we have created the most spectacular, exciting and fabulous Christmas House ever,”
the operators write in a Facebook post.
Opening hours: The House welcomes visitors wishing to get into a festive mood from Monday to Saturday between 9 AM and 6 PM, and on Sundays until 5 PM.
Location (and Grinch): The House is located in the centre of Gödöllő, next to the main road 3, opposite the castle, in the Várkapitányi lak listed building. As in previous years, Christmas weekend programmes are planned for this year. The Grinch has been a returning guest at the House since 2019.
Admission: Admission is free, but a maximum of 80 people can be admitted at a time. Pre-registration is not available and not possible. More information can be found on their website (unfortunately, only in Hungarian). Find their Facebook page HERE.
