Wagons carrying flammable freight derail in Hungary
A number of freight wagons derailed near Kétpó, in eastern Hungary, on Sunday, but there were no injuries, the police said.
Six of the train’s twelve wagons derailed for unknown reasons at 12:30 in the afternoon, the police said. Five of the derailed wagons were carrying flammable freight, according to information available at present, they added.
The disaster management authority told MTI two of the wagons were carrying liquid pesticide, classified as an environmental hazard. A mobile laboratory has been brought to the site, the authority added.
