Weather Service Issues Storm Warning
Budapest, June 24 (MTI) – The national weather service has issued a higher-level storm alert for five counties in central, southern, and south-western Hungary and a lower-level alert for Budapest and seven other counties.
The service warned that winds in the stormy areas could pick up to 90km/h and that they could be accompanied by heavy hailstorms or downpours. In many areas the amount of rainwater could reach 25-30mm in the next 24 hours.
Highest daytime temperatures will be between 19 and 26 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
