World Wrestling Championship to bring excitement to Budapest

Budapest competition event outdoor sports

Hungary is gaining recognition as a host in the sports world, a perfect example of this is the abundance of sports events to be organised in the Hungarian capital city. The next big event to look out for is the World Wrestling Championship taking place between October 20-28 at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.

The Vice President of the Hungarian Wrestling Federation, Tibor Komáromi, argues that this World Championship will be just as exciting as the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The competition in Budapest can be considered a pre-game to the Olympics, thus participants have now a great opportunity to prove themselves not just when it comes to scores and rankings, but also when it comes to performance.

Everyone has to fight hard and give their very best, he added.

Komáromi, of course, roots primarily for the Hungarian wrestling team but, in his opinion, every nation’s representatives will benefit from the lively and zealous cheering of the Hungarian audience.
