According to CNN Travel, Budapest is becoming more and more important for the film production industry. For example, it provided a backdrop for such big-budget blockbusters like Blade Runner 2049, Red Sparrow, Inferno, Spy, or Evita. Furthermore, there are Atomic Blonde, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and there’s even more to come. Thus, they collected ten famous places where film makers like to shoot.

Budapest is on the map of the American film industry

According to CNN Travel, the ten most beautiful movie locations in the Hungarian capital are:

  1. Gellért Hotel and Baths: Elisabeth Taylor, Richard Burton: Bluebeard (1972); Madonna: Evita (1996) and Eddie Murphy, Owen Wilson: I Spy (2002).
  2. Four Seasons Hotel Gresham: Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law: Spy (2015)
