Hungarian authorities investigate two migrants for suspected terrorism
Budapest, September 25 (MTI) – Police have arrested two migrants who are suspected of having taken part in attacks against police at the Roszke border crossing last week, and they are being investigated in connection with suspected terrorism, public television’s news channel M1 reported on Friday.
Police arrested the two suspects along with another seven migrants in Gelse in Zala County after they disembarked from a train.
The national police headquarters told MTI that an investigation is ongoing against eight migrants. Police spokeswoman Viktoria Csiszer-Kovacs said due to the ongoing investigation no further information could be revealed, and she refused to confirm information that among those arrested were migrants who may have taken part in the Roszke incident.
